Fall

Awwwwww.....it's that time of year-Fall! I love Fall. Especially around Halloween. It's not to cold outside just yet. Well at least here in Texas it's not. But in the evenings it's nice and cool. My son and his girlfriend and I have been busy decorating the front of our house for Halloween. I love it, we plan on having scary music playing and handing out candy to the neighborhood children on Halloween night. My son and his girlfriend are discussing dressing up in something real scary. I said its to keep all the kids away so they can keep all the candy for themselves hahaha.
I can't wait, I think it will be lots of fun. So I wonder what should I dress up as????

Long time no see!

I haven't been on here in a long time! I started a new job a few weeks ago, I love it, but it makes me not want to sit at my computer when I'm at home. After all I'm working on a computer all day long at work.
Let's see, what can I blog about???? Well, I went to the movies not to long ago and saw that movie "Hancock". I loved it. Will Smith was hilarious. I was stunned to find out (just a few days prior to me seeing it) that Charleze Theron was in the movie. I never saw her in the previews until literally two days before I went to the movie. I was really surprised. She was good too. I really liked it. People in the theater laughed out loud at some parts. Oh and then I went and saw "Wanted" with Angelina Jolie. It was a good movie too. It was a little more violant that what I generally like. It was also a little too far fetched. I mean at the beginning of the movie, Angelina and a guy were in a sports car, Lamborgini I think and they were "trying" to outrun a gunman that was driving a large box type delivery truck. PPPPAAALEASE, a Lamborgini doesn't have to "try" to outrun a box truck, it just does. Sheesh even in traffic....there is no way a large box truck is going to keep up with a lamborgini that is spinning around corners and whipping in and out of traffic. But in this movie, the box truck stayed right on their ass. Shooting at them at the Lamborgini at the same time. I mean come on?!?! Oh yes there were other far fetched scenes in the movie too. But they were scenes that were meant to be far fetched, like a driver flpping his car over the top of a Limo from one side to the other, because the Limo had bullet proof windows, and the driver wanted to shoot the man in the back of the Limo. When he flipped over it, he shot the man that sat in the back through the moon roof and than landed beside the Limo on the other side. Now that is obviously far fetched. How about curving a bullet??? They do that too. The box truck thing was just plain stupid I thought.
Anyway, I'm thinking about going to see "Batman Dark Knight". I want to see Heath Ledger in it. I've watched some of the trailors and he looks amazing as the Joker. It's sooooo soooo sad that he's dead. I always thought he was gorgeous. And one hell of an actor.
Ok, well I think I've said enough tonight. I'd love to hear from you! Leave me a comment!

My Articles on Ehow

I wrote a new article on ehow! "How to Stop Forgetting Things" Take a look for yourself and as you'll see in my article, I used to be very forgetful. I admit it, I really was a scatter brain. And what made me decide to work a little harder on my memory was because my forget fullness was starting to lower my self esteem. And as a teenager I already had a very low self esteem about myself, so I really didn't need another excuse. People I knew like my beloved Family. Picked on me for my forget fullness. I kind of became the little joke in the family. All I know is someone made one to many comments that really did hit me hard. It hurt my feelings and made me mad. I knew things had to change. So I put the gears into motion. Once I started working on my memory it actually became second nature to me. Now it's easy to stop and think about what I might be forgetting before I left my home or left a store. I actually still use the same techniques that are in my article today. So check it out and let me know what you think. Leave me a comment!

SATC Movie!

Yay! I saw the "Sex and the City" movie today! And I loved it, I loved it, I loved it. This movie was just as good as the series on TV, maybe a little better. I've never watched on HBO (the unedited version) I've been watching it on TBS. It's fun to watch how these four strong, self sufficient women live their lives in New York City. It was like watching a fairy tale. Their shoes and clothes were amazing (some a little odd). It had some moments that almost made me cry. I felt myself choking back tears at one scene. And I remember at one point thinking "dang this is a long movie!" It wasn't that I wasn't enjoying it. It was because I had to pee. Well thank God for the DVD player with a pause button, cause I will be buying the DVD as soon as it comes out! This is a must see movie for SATC lovers like me:)

Silly Sydney

It was pretty hot outside today. And Sydney has got to be uncomfortable with her thick black coat she's sporting. So I've been trying to teach little Sydney Sue how to use the doggie door. But she just doesn't want to have anything to do with it. I thought she might learn by watching Mag's run in and out, but she just looks shocked as if she's thinking Wooooaaahh....Maggie just disappeared. How the heck did that happen??? I tried pushing her through from one side. But then she doesn't want to come back. So I'm going to get Justin to help me this evening by him getting on one side and me on the other. We'll put her through the doggie door back and forth until she figures it out. I guess that's the best way to work this. Next we're off to potty training. Uggg I hate potty training puppies. Why didn't I remember that before I got another puppy??? Why don't I ever learn my lesson??? I've been through this puppy faze before (multiple times) but I never ever learn my lesson. DON'T DO IT AGAIN!!! Sheeesh!
